Is it just me, or does microsoft not give a damn about games anymore?

I have’nt been on my 360 in a while, so I decided to download a couple of games. After about 45 mins. of  downloading updates I try to go to the storefront, AND I COULD’NT FIND IT!

The icon is next to an ad that is three times bigger then it is.

Another thing that bugs me, when you download a game, do you want a nice pic of the game on it’s icon? You don’t get one. Unless your online, and if your not, you get a grey block with a controller in it.

I think I know why the Thundercats reboot did’nt really take off.           

   Because it’s not as homoerotic as the original.

   So, I just got finished playing ikachan on my 3ds…literally, like, an hour after I downloaded it.

   When I heard there was going to be a prequel to cavestory, I was all over it. Now that i’ve played it, and beaten it, I can honestly say I’m really disappointed.

   It’s a 30 minute long game where you play as a squid, and it has no replay value what so ever. It’s 5 dollars.

   The one paragraph above this sentence is the entire review. There ya go.

   So, if the wall street journal is correct, the PS4 will be unveiled soon and in the market at the end of the year.

   God, what a bad idea.

   I don’t want to buy a new console. I’m still getting plenty of use out of my PS3, Sony.

  And If this thing launches at 600 bucks like last time, then I’m going to be using my PS3 for at least a couple more years.

   I just got the batman trilogy on blu-ray, it would be awesome if it were’nt for one thing.

   The stupid packaging!

   It’s one of those boxes that fold out and the dvds are on top of each other. So if I want to take out one of the special features disks I have to take out the disk on top of it first.

   That’s not all. The bottom disk is also slid into a little notch, so to get it out you have to contort your hand into a weird backwards claw shape so you can push the button to release it and drag it out of the notch.

   Great movies, great set, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves. It annoys me almost as much as pet psychics.

MLP has such a huge fanbase now its almost ridiculous. One part of its fanbase is made up of twenty-something-year-old men, and I’m part of it. Even though I love the show and eagerly wait for the next issue of the comic, I don’t like to be called a brony; I like alot of cartoon shows, why should I receive a special title just because I like this show too? I like adventure time too, how come I’m not called an adventurer?

There’s nothing wrong with all these guys loving the show, as a matter of fact it’s great, without this side of the fanbase who knows how long the show would have lasted?

What I don’t like is how some (some, not all, or even most) of it’s older fans have placed some unreasonably high expectations on the show. It’s a kids show about pony’s making friends and worshiping their alicorn princess, that’s part of the reason I like watching the show! The show is aimed at young girls under the age of ten, what deep life lesson are you expecting to get out of it?

Seriously, go to the pony board on 4chan on a day a new episode airs. About five minutes after the show ends, people will start to post about how “This is it!”, “Fluttershy would’nt act like that!”, “Their just pandering now!”.

Then there’s the whole derpy thing…you can have whatever opinon you want on that subject, but in my opinon, I like the name dizty-doo.

Then again, those people can only ruin the show for you if you let them, so this whole thing is kinda counter-productive.

Of course my first talk is going to be about MLP.

Who would of thought, of all the shows to reboot, that MLP would get a reboot; let alone that it would be any good. But Lauren Faust not only revived it, she made it one of the most popular shows on t.v.!

MLP (yes, I’m just going to shorten it) follows the adventures of six ponies, the mane six, as the show puts it, as they learn about the values of friendship. When I first heard the description of the show I had no interest in it, but after it was put on netflix, and I bought a couple of dvds and a comic book subscription, i’m a fan! I’m watching an episode as I type this (Twilight just fell into Applejack’s apple cellar and now she’s in a wheelchair!).

MLP, like most cartoons nowadays, is drawn digitally and, for the most part, I have no problem with this. The show is bright and colorful and nice to look at, but on some episodes I’ve noticed a glitch or two; I grew up with cartoons from the 80’s and 90’s, which are full of glaring mistakes, so this is just nitpicking.

The show also has some great voice acting. The mane six each have a fitting voice-actor that gives them there own personality. There are also some addicting songs in the show, which use another set of voice-actors, and they themselves are good sound-alike’s, and I’m surprised a CD or something has’nt been released, but there is alot of fan music out there.

This is simply a fun show that I would recommend to anyone of any age.

If for some reason you still have no idea how popular this show is; your on tumbler! You saw, at least, fifty pony pictures before you stumbled on this blog!

And thats my view on the show. Later I will talk about the thing I don’t like about it…some of the fans.
